How We Know

The link below is directly related to a subject I’ve been thinking about for some time now; regarding my paternal great-grandparents’ genealogy research. Long story short; my paternal great-grandfather was a full-blooded Native American Indian of unknown tribal relations.

All that IS known, is that he was registered with the U.S. Government **but**…any paperwork my grandma had that proved her father’s status was lost in a fire ๐Ÿ”ฅmany MANY years ago! !!!

I’m hoping that thru DNA blood testing and/Or — whatever other possible sources are available currently, we can find out what tribe he was descended from. As far as I know, my generation would more than likely be the last generation that could both claim and be legally proven/listed as Native American. And I feel that **finally** getting to solve the ‘family mystery’ is going to be bloody awesome! ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ’– ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ˜ตโœŒ
